What your support means, how payments work, and how to reach me.

This website is my personal homebase. Support payments are made to Cole Speelman, an individual based in Ontario, Canada. Gamertan is the name of this website and my projects.

What you're supporting

Your contribution helps me keep building and maintaining software and sharing what I learn. Choose a one-time contribution or recurring monthly support. An optional project preference tells me what you value; it does not restrict how the support is used.

Support does not buy goods, software access, services, advertising, ownership, priority treatment or a promised release date. It is not a charitable donation and I do not issue charitable tax receipts. Public software remains available under its own licence, whether or not you contribute.

Before you pay

Check the amount, currency and billing frequency shown before confirming payment. Contributions are offered in Canadian dollars unless checkout explicitly shows another currency. Your bank may apply currency-conversion or other fees. Any tax charged by this checkout is shown before you confirm.

Stripe securely processes payments. A pending order or a return from checkout is not confirmation of payment; your order record updates when payment is confirmed. Receipts identify Cole Speelman, and card statements use COLE SPEELMAN or its shortened descriptor SPEELMAN.

Monthly support renews until cancelled. Each separate recurring contribution has its own charges and cancellation. See the subscription, cancellation and refund policies for details.

If you purchase for an organization, you must be authorized to do so. Keep your account secure and use a payment method you are entitled to use.

Keeping things clear

The policy versions accepted with your order remain available in your purchase record. Later website edits do not rewrite that record or authorize an unannounced change to your recurring amount. Nothing in these policies removes rights or remedies that applicable law gives you.

When the website displays a Test mode banner, purchases are simulated: no real payment is collected, nothing is fulfilled, and only Stripe test payment details should be used.
